Before buying a Skyline

Before you make the decision of buying any performance car you need to ask yourself the following -

Can I drive it?

I dont want to seem patronising, but if you havent driven a RWD car before, i would suggest buying a Nissan 200SX S13 as a starter car for two reasons;

1) They are tail end happy cars, that react in very similar ways to the R33.
2) The parts are considerably cheaper, should they be damged while the back end went out on a roundabout or whatever.

The R33 GTST takes particular skill to drive, especially where wet road surface is concerned. you cant approach roundabouts too quickly else you can end up facing the wrong way, which isnt much use to anyone.

Can i really afford it?

Although things can be done on a low budget, it decreases money saved to spend on other parts, or whatever.

These cars are not cheap to run or maintain if your paying a garage to do the work.
