Gearbox

The R33GTS-T has a 6 speed box; 5 forward and 1 reverse.

Unfortunately due to my lack of interest, I wont be getting involved with the gears and their ratio's just yet, this will come with time (when I can be bothered).

However, the next part along is the clutch and its components & mechanism.

The operation of the clutch is crutial to smooth gear selection and pull away, however from time to time this may feel like its slipping, to test it its quite simple, you may notice that when the boost "kicks in" on the turbo, the engine revs up but the road speed doesnt increase. If this has been happening, its probably the clutch.

There are a few options to performance clutches available for the R33. Exedy do a clutch (however it doesnt include the release bearing or the cover).
