In Car Entertainment
This section will hopefully cover basic to in depth systems, with some guidance on what type of equipment to buy from amateur to proffessional competition equipment.
The "Complete Installation Guide" covers from front to rear of the vehicle - excluding changing rear speakers and door speakers, as these will be covered in their own sections.
Setting the System is what to do now youve installed the system, adjusting settings for optimum listening & power capabilities.
Some good advice before installing a system is
1. Fli Audio :
Loaded 400S caught fire
Loaded 400S replacement started fading in and out
Loaded 900S increased RFI dramatically despite the fact that I spent at least £100.00 on ground loop suppressors, various wiring kits, terminals etc, and spent at least 4 weeks trying to solve the problem.
Loaded Integrator 6 Speakers fell apart - literally
2.Kenwood :
"the Don" in my opinion
I will be going for a full Kenwood setup in the non too distant future.
Other good makes are
Rockford Fosgate
Alpine
Clarion (though personally I dont like theyr style)
JVC the more you pay the better it is
JBL
Infiniti - very good make, again as long as you spend the money
and these are to name a few... |
