Settting the System
Ideally somewhere out of the way, where you wont bother anyone with your new install.
Kenwood are very impressive with their tweek abilities, with functions such as B.M.S. (Bass Management Systems) and filtering options. Its knowing how to set it up, and also relies on the quality of format being played from either MP3 or CD files (mp3,AAC etc).
So the first thing to do here is, with the engine running (to ensure that you have a constant charge on the battery), get all the amplifier settings to "0", and in their correct usage - i.e. speakers set to "off" or High, Stereo option; and that the sub is bridged correctly from opposing + & - terminals.
Turn on the head unit and set everything to "0" such as Bass, Treble, Middle, Frequency etc.
