one of my projects was a mini clubman (1977 plate), this mainly consisted of body work, wider wheel arches, grilles / headlamps conversions, and of course trying to beat the rust. Unfortunately I ran out of funds (kept finding more rust!!) and had to abandon the project.

K&N Induction Kit (had K&N Panel filter previously, also very good but I wanted the "roar"

Koni adjustable rear struts

O.M.P strut Brace

Fox Racing 6 Alloys (15"x7")

Alloy rear spoiler custom anodised

RDM Front Splitter

Front Grille customised / meshed (badly, in hindsight)

Knight Rider(tm) front red L.E.D. lights (please, just, dont say anything... I was young...)

Factory HP - 75. I think I was pushing 90 but never got her Dyno'd.

0-60 mph - 7 secs, Top Speed - 120+, 1/4 mile - 16.48 seconds *after some research for information of the 1.0 Side project Micra, I have come to discover that this record has yet to be beaten since the time was acquired at Santa Pod on 11/02/2001, by another micra of its kind, making it the fastest that has existed so far with such basic tuning and modifications*

Factory Hp - 200. Vehicle wasn't timed or 1/4 miled, a guess at 220 or 240Hp.

 


 

My own first turbo charged car was a Renault 5 GT Turbo, which was pretty much a shed, and demanded more TLC than I wanted to throw at it, so I sold it.
