Health and Safety

In fairness its common sense, but I feel the need to add this section for safety reasons.

  1. If working underneath a vehicle, and the vehicle is raised, always use axle stands & chock the wheels with blocks.
  2. When working with the vehicles electrical system, always disconnect the battery negative cable and press the brake pedal to elminate the remainder of any power left in the electrical system.
  3. Always use the right tools for the job!
  4. Always wear the correct personal protection - be it goggles if dealing with small projectiled parts or grinding sparks, ear muffs in loud environments, gloves where applicable (personally I always try to use them), breathing protection.
  5. Always ensure you have the means to dispose correctly of oils, filters etc. - Contact your local Environmental Agency for details.

These are what I feel are the principles of Health & Safety - its common sense. If you have any questions then please contact me.
